The Royal Air Force put down a dominant display at this year's Slopestyle competition in the French Alps.

It was the turn of the snowboarders to show off some flare at the Inter Services Snow Sports Championships in Meribel.

Day 4 of the competition saw the Snowboard Slopestyle competitors from across the three services take to the air, performing some breathtaking moves on the eye-catching French Alps course – with the RAF team claiming the most wins.

Slopestyle involves riders taking turns to go down a course consisting of obstacles such as rails, jumps, and various other park features, with points scored for originality, amplitude, and the execution of the tricks.

Royal Air Force Wing Commander Claire Collis took the women's event crown with best trick winner Flight Lieutenant Paddy Morris ensuring an RAF male-female lockout.

The RAF also took the women's team trophy, but the Army halted the clean sweep, winning the men's overall team result and also the best newcomer going to Corporal Jasmine Furber.
