Welsh Guards brave freezing PT session in festive fancy dress

The Welsh Guards have honoured a regimental tradition to smash out a Physical Training session in fancy dress before beginning Christmas leave.

There was a range of festive outfits and unusual apparel as the soldiers braced freezing temperatures at Combermere Barracks, Windsor.

On the Welsh Guards' Facebook page, moral was described as "high" and they said, "it's plain to see that the battalion has been transformed with regards to fitness and we will be carrying on this routine into 2023".

"Cymru Am Byth," they added, which translates as "Long Live Wales".
