Watch: Which NATO country has the best ration packs? Soldiers take the taste test

Troops from Estonia, Denmark and the UK swapped ration packs and compared each nation's MREs (meals ready to eat).

British soldiers have joined comrades from other NATO nations to try each other's ration packs.

Troops, from Denmark, Estonia and the UK, compared each nation's respective MREs (meals ready to eat) – with each country having a different approach to fuelling its personnel.

The packs included a "bunch of peanuts… smashed together", stroganoff with potatoes, Tabasco sauce and, of course, British tea.
