Army reserve doctors have been benefiting from a combined training exercise that spans Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria

Exercise Saber Guardian involves 25,000 military personnel from over 20 participating nations and will run until Thursday.

Medics from several NATO countries are taking part in what is the largest training exercise in the Black Sea Region.

Including six British medical professionals who are gaining vital experience.

Lieutenant Colonel Laura Duffy, 201 Field Hospital said:

"Working in this multi-nation exercise is fantastic.

"It’s a really great opportunity to see everyone in this environment, working with all the different field hospitals."

The exercise ensures medics from around the world will be ready to deploy as part of a NATO combined force.
