UK forecast for the next 5 days

Thunderstorms in the southeast. Rain in the northwest moving southeastwards.

Heavy showers in the southeast will continue this evening but ease overnight. Patchy rain will persist in northern and western parts of the UK, including heavy bursts in the southwest.

Saturday will start cloudy, but brighten up later. It will become hot and humid in the south and east, setting off a few heavy showers in some places.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Mostly dry and warm; hot and humid in the south and east. Often cloudy and breezy in the northwest, with rain moving slowly southeastwards at times.
