American B-52s make huge flight from USA to Europe

US Air Force B-52 Stratofortress strategic bombers have flown a marathon mission from North Dakota in the United States to the North Sea.

The bombers joined fighter escorts from the Royal Air Force, along with US Air Force fighters and B-1B Lancer bombers assigned to Bomber Task Force Europe.

The task force is designed to get American crews familiar with NATO alliance airspace and tactics.
