Donald Trump has completed a four-day visit to Japan by addressing military personnel aboard the USS Wasp.
It was the second ship Mr Trump visited after he landed on the Japanese destroyer JS Kaga.
The US President also praised the strength of the military alliance between the two countries during a four-day visit to Japan.
Speaking to more than 800 service members on board the USS Wasp, the President wished them a "Happy Memorial Day" and praised personnel as "daring and mighty warriors in the Pacific".
He and First Lady Melania Trump were joined during the visit by Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe and his wife, Akie.
It came after the US honoured its war dead on Memorial Day on Monday.
Mr Trump has been criticised for skipping visits to cemeteries to honour US troops, but he placed flags on graves in Arlington Cemetery last week before leaving for Japan.
