Troops test Challenger 3 tank with virtual reality training system

Troops have been testing a virtual reality (VR) system used to simulate British Army vehicle training.

Developed by Lockheed Martin, the VR training can emulate eight vehicles – including a prototype of the Challenger 3 tank.

As well as being reconfigurable, the system is also mobile and could also be used to prevent skill fade when personnel are deployed.
