Team Britannia have just begun to train for their world record attempt.
 
Today they're learning how to work a powerboat in Southampton in preparation for their challenge.

The team are hoping to complete the 23,000 mile trip in under 60 days aboard their purpose built power boat 
 
The crew of 12 will be half made up of wounded military veterans.
 
They'll be travelling in an 80 foot Eco powerboat called Excalibur, she's currently being built in the uk out of marine grade aluminium. 
 
Team Britannia launch their record bid on 23rd October from Europa point in Gibraltar.
