The man who led the Royal Navy Commando Force's Sea King MkIVs on their final flypast before being decommissioned says his team had an "absolutely fantastic day".
Commander Gavin Simmonite said:
"The weather was really kind to us which was absolutely brilliant."
"We managed to spend almost six hours today flying around the South and South West of England, going to all the varous organisations, the locations, the schools that have supported us over four decades."
"To see so many people out and waving was absolutely fanstastic."
