Prince Harry has praised military charities for working closer together saying there's no place for squabbling or competition.
The Afghan war veteran has been meeting fellow ex-service personnel in Gateshead at an event hosted by Walking With The Wounded.
Ed Parker, CEO of WWTW, said:
"For us, as an organisation where he's giving us some support, it makes an enormous amount of difference. He's a very, very passionate man about this."
Walking With the Wounded is a charity that helps wounded former British Armed Forces servicemen and women.
On the same day, Prince Harry has also met with representatives from Head Start, which provides mental health support to veterans, and Project Nova, which identifies and supports ex-service personnel involved in anti-social and criminal activity.
