One crew member put on his skates as they touched down in icy Canada (Pictures: @99Sqn/Twitter).
RAF personnel were on thin ice in Canada - so they started ice skating on it.
Crew landing in Canada from 99 Squadron used the icy conditions as a chance to stretch their legs and ice skate on the airfield.
The airfield was subject to a freezing rain shower, which caused it to be rather slippery and if you watch to the end of the video you will see just how icy it was:
In the UK runways are cleared from ice and snow because the weather conditions rarely persist for prolonged periods.
Although, in places like Canada and Norway the RAF say they often pack the snow into a dense runway. But in some conditions, they do de-ice the runway.
