Prince Charles' birthday marked with gun salutes across UK

The Prince of Wales' birthday has been marked with gun salutes at various locations across the UK.

A 21-gun salute was fired at the Tower of London, Edinburgh Castle and other locations to celebrate Prince Charles' 73rd birthday.

In Scotland, the tribute to Charles ran alongside an event for the 'Veterans Add Value' initiative - which aims to help ex-military personnel find employment.
