Operation Orbital: The UK's mission in Ukraine explained

Many of the Ukrainian forces currently engaged in fighting against Russia's invasion will have been trained by the British Military.

Under Operation Orbital, the UK provided training to the Ukrainian Armed Forces after the illegal annexation of Crimea by Russia in 2014.
