New British Army defence hub in Germany fuelled by continued Russia tensions

The British Army is prepositioning armour and equipment in continental Europe, with the creation of a new Defence Global Hub in Germany.

Tensions between NATO and Russia prompted Britain to make the move, with similar decisions made by the United States.

The NATO Forward Holding Base Sennelager near Paderborn will act as a springboard for operations and exercises in continental Europe as well as contributing to NATO's strengthening deterrence and defence posture.
