Rugby League: Marines Beaten In Memorial Match

The Royal Marines rugby league team has been narrowly beaten by Wigan St.

The Royal Marines rugby league team has been narrowly beaten by Wigan St. Patricks 2nd XV in their annual memorial match, which finished 20-14.
 
The game honours Royal Marines Corporal Liam Elms and Sergeant Steven Darbyshire, as well as others who were killed in Afghanistan.  
 
It's now part of the Royal Marines Memorial Festival at the club, which not only remembers those who died but also raises money for the Royal Marines Association.
