Royal Marine Commandos have been on exercise in Cyprus.

They are currently deployed in the Mediterranean as part of a Special Purpose Task Force operating from the amphibious landing ship Royal Fleet Auxiliary Mounts Bay.

Two hundred Royal Marines live and operate from RFA Mounts Bay, with 150 Royal Navy and British Army personnel in support.

The Royal Fleet Auxiliary has a range of ships that support the Royal Navy around the globe - from floating hospitals to fuel tankers.

Simon Newton went on board to meet the Mounts Bay crew.
