The latest recruits to the Ministry of Defence Police completed their training with a passing out parade.

The latest Ministry of Defence Police (MDP) recruits have completed their training with a passing out parade.

The parade and inspection, which took place at the MDP HQ in Wethersfield, Essex, marked the culmination of 18 weeks of hard work.

The British Army Band Colchester started proceedings, before family and friends got to find out a little more about some of the skills learnt by the scores of new Police Constables.

This ranged from an armed stop of a stolen van to the dramatic take-down of a burglar - thanks to a Belgian Malinois.

Recruits are now set to be dispersed to MDP sites across the country.
