'Mental Health Issues Don't Make You Any Less Of A Bootneck'

The story of one Royal Marine Commando is part of a mental health campaign.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry have released ten films as part of the Heads Together mental health campaign.

One of the films features Phil Eaglesham, a Royal Marine Commando.

At 29 years old, as he was preparing to leave Camp Bastion, he fell ill.

At first he was thought to have flu but after going into hospital it was confirmed that Phil had contracted Q disease.

Although the infection has now been treated, the after-effects are disabling.

The short video features Phil's wife Julie and they talk about his battle with mental health issues and how important it was for him to be able to talk her about it.

“If I don’t keep talking about it, I’m afraid of being back where I was".

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry hope these videos will encourage a national conversation on mental health.
