How The Afghan Resistance Continues Despite Taliban Control
A friend of the Afghan resistance group leader battling the Taliban has called for international humanitarian aid and military support for the group.
Kamal Alam maintains a close relationship with Ahmad Massoud, who took on the fight against the Taliban after his father was assassinated by al-Qaeda 20 years ago.
Small pockets of Afghanistan remain outside of Taliban control, but Mr Alam says his friend is "the only person" stopping terror organisations from thriving in Afghanistan.
