HMS Scott Crew Trained In Fire And Floods Response

The ship is the largest survey vessel in Western Europe and the Royal Navy's fifth largest vessel.

Personnel on board HMS Scott, the Royal Navy's only deepwater survey ship, have been training to deal with fires and floods at sea.

The ship is an ocean survey vessel and can remain at sea for up to 300 days a year – thanks to her crew rotation system.

And a post on HMS Scott's Twitter page said: "When we're thousands of miles from help, it's important to keep our skills sharp!"
