Former Formula One World Champion Jenson Button has wished British military personnel a Happy New Year and thanked them for their service.

The 2009 F1 winner praised the work of personnel in rolling out the COVID-19 booster vaccine – more than 950 personnel are available to support the programme in England, Scotland and Wales.

He said: "Happy New Year to all the service personnel around the world and especially the ones that are helping out with the booster jabs."
