Former Afghan interpreters who face Taliban persecution risk being forgotten

While all eyes are fixed on the intensifying Ukraine conflict, with millions of refugees fleeing from Russian shelling, those still facing great danger and persecution in Afghanistan risk being forgotten.

Many former interpreters for UK Forces and other Afghans who helped the UK with frontline operations remain in hiding in Afghanistan due to Taliban death threats.

Rosie Laydon spoke to two former interpreters who recently tried to escape.
