Duchess of Cornwall thanks forces for 'unseen sacrifices'

The Duchess, as part of her new Patronage message to BFBS this week, sent Christmas wishes to the UK military.

HRH The Duchess of Cornwall, who is Patron of BFBS, has thanked members of the British military for their "unseen sacrifices" in 2021.

She has also wished the Armed Forces community around the word a "very happy Christmas".

The Duchess, as part of her new Patronage message to BFBS this week, said: "I should like to take advantage of the global reach of the BFBS to express my deepest admiration for our Armed Forces who've once again demonstrated remarkable versatility and courage this year.

"Responding to the numerous calls for help, both in this country and overseas.

"Many of you will be on duty over Christmas, protecting those of us who'll be safe with our families.

"Thank you for your unseen sacrifices that you are making for us all. Thank you also to your families for keeping the home fires burning.

"Wherever you are in the world over this festive period, may I wish you all a very happy Christmas," the Duchess added.
