PM To Pay Respects To WWI Dead In France And Belgium
Prime Minister Theresa May will travel today to Belgium and France where she will lay wreaths on the graves of the first and last British soldiers to be killed during the Great War.
She will also meet serving members of the British and Belgian Armed Forces at a reception hosted by Belgium’s Prime Minister, Charles Michel.
RAF To Disband Bomb Disposal Squad
The RAF’s only bomb disposal squadron is to be closed with its duties taken over by the Army. The 5131 Bomb Disposal Squadron's duties will be gradually phased out until 2020 and there are no redundancies planned.
British War Dead To Be Honoured At Birthplace Of US Revolution
A plaque honouring both British and American war dead in Iraq and Afghanistan will be unveiled at an ironic location- the Old North Church in Boston where America's war for independence from Britain began.
