Navy urged to 'congratulate' personnel with revived WO2 rank

The Commander of the Maritime Reserves has urged those who see Royal Navy Reservists wearing the new Warrant Officer 2 epaulettes to "congratulate" them.

The rank was phased out in 2014, and is set to be re-introduced across the service this year as part of Royal Navy Transformation.

And Commodore Mel Robinson said in a post on Twitter: "Now you've seen them, congratulate those that wear them. An honour indeed."
