Soldiers from the 1st Battalion The Princess of Wales' Royal Regiment (1 PWRR) have been conducting house clearing drills at Sennelager Training Centre in Germany.
The exercise helps the battalion to prepare for urban warfare within a realistic environment.
1 PWRR are the infantry regiment's very high readiness unit, meaning that they can act as the "tip of the spear" by engaging in short-notice intervention.
Such is this armoured battalion's fierce reputation that they are known as the Armoured Tigers.
The majority of the battalion's soldiers are mounted, using Warrior infantry fighting vehicles carrying 30mm Rarden cannons and 7.62mm chain guns.
Each Warrior is able to carry seven of these infantry soldiers, who are responsible for the maintenance and service of their own vehicles.
