UK stands with Finland in face of Russian threats, Defence Secretary says

The UK will stand with Finland against any Russian threats, the Defence Secretary says.

Ben Wallace was speaking during a visit to Finland to see joint UK and Finnish military exercises.

It follows Moscow's threats that any move to join NATO would mean "the destruction of the country" and lead to "undesirable consequences".

Finland, along with Sweden, is considering NATO membership, as Russia's assault on Ukraine continues.
