How Estonia is strengthening its defences

Watch: From Tallinn, Forces News' Rosie Laydon looks at Estonia's defence strategy.

Russia perceives the Baltic states as the most vulnerable area within Nato, says a recent report from the Estonian Foreign Intelligence Service.

It said in the event of a Nato-Russia conflict, it is probable that it would happen on Nato's eastern flank.

Estonia has recently announced it will increase army numbers by a third and increase defence spending to 3.2% of GDP.

In the video above, Forces News reporter Rosie Laydon reports from Tallinn on how the country has been dealing with the heightened threat to its security.
