Combat Stress - specialist treatment and support for veterans, focusing on those with complex mental health issues.

H4H Hidden Wounds- provides psychological wellbeing advice and support.

NHS Armed Forces Healthcare - details about how the NHS can help and the partnership between the NHS and the MoD.

Samaritans - a range of services to help support serving personnel in the Armed Forces, veterans, and their families.

SSAFA - ready to help all service men and women, veterans and their families with any mental or emotional health concerns.

The Ripple Pond - a network of local, peer-led, self-help support groups for the family members of wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, reservists and veterans.

  • Support for young people and children:

Childline - support for children on all issues, including mental health challenges such as loneliness and depression.

Forces Children’s Trust - helps children in need whose father or mother has died or has sustained life-changing injuries whilst serving as a member of the British Armed Forces.

Home-Start - helps armed forces families with young children particularly at times of heightened anxieties,  including key transition points of rebasing and deployment.

Little Troopers - provides support to service children who face unique challenges such as repeated separation and frequent moves due to service requirements.

Scotty's Little Soldiers - dedicated to supporting children who have lost a parent serving in the British Armed Forces.

The Mix - a support service and online community for young people to help with issues ranging from mental health to money.

Young Minds - specific support for mental health issues experienced by children and young people.
