‘Military Wives’ follows a band of women who form a choir on a military base. Unexpected friendships flourish and joining forces as a choir helps the women overcome their fears for loved ones on the frontline in Afghanistan.

The story is inspired by the award-winning BBC documentary series 'The Choir: Military Wives', which saw choirmaster Gareth Malone select and train amateur singers to form choirs, sparking a global phenomenon.

'Darkest Hour' actor Dame Kristin Scott Thomas portrays Kate, the wife of a Colonel serving in Afghanistan and 'Catastrophe' writer and actor Sharon Horgan portrays Lisa, who runs the on-base shop.
