Alpine and Telemark events start Meribel 2023 on opening day of action

The Inter Services snow sports championships have kicked off with Alpine and Telemark skiers taking the headlines in Meribel.

The first event saw the Alpine Ski Slalom take place as the Army's Lieutenant Joshua Serdet won the men's race and RAF athlete Flying Officer Kirsty Guest was victorious in the women's competition.

In the Telemark Giant Slalom, the Army dominated the men's race with Stefan Hurst winning for the second consecutive year while in the women's competition, Squadron Leader Clare Thomas from the RAF stood at the top of the podium.

Men's Alpine Ski Slalom results:

Women's Alpine Ski Slalom results:
