Our first Christmas Personnel Recovery Show of 2016 was for Chavasse VC House in Colchester. Usually they have their show earlier in the year, but this time wanted to plan for a festive delivery.

Funded by the CSE beneficiary fund, we returned to Colchester with the UKs premier improv comedy troupe The Noise Next Door, and CSE favourites Hot Shots.

The Noise Next Door got everyone involved, taking audience suggestions before transforming them into fantastically funny songs and scenes in the blink of an eye, creating lots of fun for everyone.

Despite performing at several PRCs previously, it was Hot Shots first time at Chavasse VC House and they thoroughly enjoyed finishing the show with live music, performing a sing-a-long set.

Abbie Griggs, Help For Heroes Regional Band of Brothers & Band of Sisters Coordinator said,

'I would like to extend a huge thank you to the whole team at CSE who supported and made the Christmas CSE Show at Chavasse VC House happen. From the support in making it happen to the acts on the night, it all went off withut a hitch and we had many laughs on the evening. Your incredible support really does make all the difference to those who are Wounded, Injured or Sick, especially at this time if the year so thank you for taking the time to 'do your bit'...The war in Afghanistan may be over but for the young men, women and families we support the battle is just beginning. Your contribution has helped make a great difference to the lives of some very special people'.
