Forces TV is now available on Freeview channel 96, adding to its existing channels on Sky 450, Freesat 165, Virgin 277.
If you already have a YouView-based TV service (e.g. BT TV or TalkTalk TV) and live in the transmission area, you will be able to view Forces TV on channel 96 through the YouView in-built Freeview receiver.
Your YouView box will automatically add the channel. The majority of people in Britain will be able to watch Forces TV on the Freeview HD platform.
To make sure you’re not missing out, follow our step-by-step guide below:

Check if you can receive Forces TV in your area with these handy coverage checkers:
Step 2: Retune your TV or box to find new Freeview channels:
If the coverage checker shows that your home is in a Freeview HD area, the next step is to check if your TV or set-top box can receive the channel.
Start by going to channel 96. If you can see Forces TV, that’s great and you can view our TV schedule here: www.forces.net/forces-tv/schedule.
If not, try retuning for new channels, by bringing up the settings display on your TV.
Step 3: Buy a new box
Some older TVs are not equipped to receive the new channels on the Freeview HD platform, so check if your television is labelled ‘Freeview HD’.
If it’s not and you don’t want to buy a new TV, there are a variety of set-top boxes available which will allow you to watch Forces TV.
Many have built in recorders which are very useful if you want to save a Forces TV programme for later.
