What advice would you give to those joining now, or what would you tell your younger self if you could have your time again, from what you have learned through experience?

It could be anything from simple tips on what to watch out for when you first join up, such as making sure your bed is made before breakfast and being on time and other daily tasks that improve your day-to-day disciplines, to experiences you have learned from that have improved your family life, home life or downtime outside of the working day.

Or it could be tips on how you have coped with deployment, homesickness and other personal issues that come with the role of serving in the Armed Forces.

Anything that has improved your wellbeing, or made a positive difference to your life as a member of the military community.

Fighting Fit aims to share tips on many of these ideas, drawing from the experiences of those who have served in Britain’s Armed Forces and the wider military family, to provide guidance, tips and life hacks on developing a healthy work/life balance.

Sign up to receive a range of content, quarterly throughout the year, that addresses some of those challenges presented by life in the Armed Forces, or watch out for our features on our social platforms and on the website at forces.net.
