A double amputee who served ten years in the RAF is about to take on the world’s toughest footrace, the Marathon De Sables.

Duncan Slater was injured in 2009, whilst serving in Afghanistan and has since lost both his legs.

He’s already completed a number of extraordinary challenges, including trekking to the South Pole, but this latest one will be the hardest yet.
