Royal Military Police March Across Europe

Members of 1 Royal Military Police have found a rather unconventional way to rebase.

14 soldiers from the regiment spent eight days tabbing 750 miles across Europe non-stop, with their regimental flag, to reach their new home in Catterick.

Carrying 17kg each, the soldiers split into teams, completing eight miles at a time before handing the flag over to the next group.

Forces TV's Hannah King was there to see them raise their flag.

Tabbing: A relatively fast march over a long distance carrying a load. Also called Yomping by the Royal Marines.
