Father's Day: Children express their love in heartwarming video messages

To celebrate Father's Day, hundreds of children of all ages from around the military world have recorded messages of love and admiration for the dads or father figures in their lives.
British serving personnel are on duty 24/7 around the globe keeping the peace, tackling terrorism, delivering humanitarian aid and keeping the country safe, but this means they sometimes spend months away from their children.
Long deployments and being posted overseas also keep serving personnel from being with their parents at home.

To help keep Armed Forces families as connected as possible, BFBS the Forces Station encouraged their listeners to send in videos or audio clips of their children or themselves wishing their loved one a happy Father's Day.
The dads or father figures in our lives are more than just DIY experts, taxi drivers or the person who tells cringe-worthy jokes such as: "What do you call cheese that isn't yours?
"Nacho cheese" 😂
They don't wear capes, but they are certainly our superheroes.
The heartfelt video messages below show just how much they are loved by the children who adore them.
