A ceremony at the House of Lords has marked the 40th anniversary of the Falklands conflict.

The event was organised by military charity the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA), who set about supporting families left at home during the conflict.

Veterans were joined by senior military personnel, politicians and loved ones to mark the anniversary.
