Drama is helping veterans with physical injuries and mental health problems adapt to life after the forces.

Stand Easy Productions in Dundee uses theatre to help their recovery by developing their communication skills and self-confidence.

The project builds on the skills learned in the military - such as teamwork, discipline, and mutual support - and encourages the veterans to devise improvised scenes reflecting the difficulties some of them face during their transition to civilian life.

The latest production, End Ex, has been performed at venues across the city after a three-week rehearsal period.

Stand Easy is also holding weekly drama sessions to encourage those who took part in the project to continue performing on stage.
