The RAF men and women take on the Royal Navy at RAF Halton as the championship gets under way.

The inter services is now very much a three-way show and not the two horse race it was for so long.

The women's match which takes place first on Wednesday and will be as competitive as ever. The RAF, being led by Chrissy Siczowa, have home advantage and two straight victories behind them against the senior service, but she knows it'll be another tough battle.

Two players could be crucial for the Air Force; Welsh international Sian Williams for the women, and Josh McNally for the men. He has proved an inspiration over the past two seasons and will play a massive role in a young RAF team.

It's 11 years since the RAF men beat the Royal Navy, the match at Halton two years ago produced an extraordinary draw, and the Navy won a tight contest in Portsmouth 12 months ago on their way to the title.

It could be just as tight this time.
