The UK Armed Forces Rugby League Team enjoyed a day of contrasts ahead of their first Forces World Cup match against Fiji in Australia.
There was some training for the 24 man squad, but nothing too tough ahead of tomorrow's game. Then a chance to take in one of Sydney's sporting highlights, the SCG Stadium, home of the Sydney Cricket Club and also the venue for top class rugby and Australian rules football.
The visit to Sydney Children's Hospital included a bit of 'fizz' when the team were challenged to show off their hula-hooping skills, as well as more relaxing bed-side chats with some of the youngsters.
Despite the usual intense rivalry between the three forces on the rugby pitch, the tri-service Armed Forces squad members say they've put aside their differences and bonded as a team and are looking forward with confidence to facing Fiji.
