The next round of matches in this year’s Inter Services Rugby Championship take place in Aldershot today as the Army host the Royal Air Force.

The Army senior side are experiencing a barren run against their Air Force opponents, having lost the previous two encounters between the sides.

It’s a run the men in red will be desperate to stop. The last time they stuttered for a prolonged period against the Airmen was 23 years ago but this season the Army are more focused than ever to get back to winning ways.

The RAF have been preparing at Halton. They've had a fortnight to lick their injury wounds following their two-point win over the Navy.

And the RAF women are in buoyant mood after their record  72-0 win against the Navy a fortnight ago. This could provide the stiffest inter services test the Army have ever faced

With the veteran's game also taking place today it promises to be a Festival of Rugby at Aldershot.
