The Invictus Games can be stressful time for athletes and their families.

Luckily some of the most adorable dogs in the world are in Toronto to help give the teams a rest.

Therapy dogs from St John Ambulance usually bring joy and comfort to the sick, lonely and those who need a puppy pal.

But at the Games, they've been a hit with service personnel who need some well earned time out.

The animals are great with everyone from young children to the elderly.

Even Canadian World War II veteran Harry Watts had his heart warmed by the hounds.

The therapy dogs are based at the athletes’ village in downtown Toronto.

US swimmers have used dogs like these before their Olympic trials to help cope with stress.
