The GB Armed Forces Rugby League Veterans side have been in action in Bradford.
They played a British-Asian Rugby Association select side as a curtain-raiser to the Bradford Bulls game against Oldham at the Odsal stadium.
The Armed Forces squad included 11 Army players, eight from the RAF and one Royal Navy representative.
There's been four years of inactivity for the veterans team but they returned in fine form, performing against a side much younger in years.
Although the points dried up in the second half, the military side matched their opponents in physicality.
And it was a game that was played in a great spirit, although with the usual flair and the odd bone-crunching tackle.
