Victory over Japan Day, known as VJ Day, is to be marked across the UK on Saturday, with Her Majesty The Queen leading the 70th anniversary commemorations.

As part of the celebrations, we've been delving into the past with veterans who served in the Far East during the Second World War.

In the latest in our series, we hear from former aircraftman Robert Boocock, who was captured and held prisoner by the Japanese in 1942, before being transported to work in a coal mine in Japan.
