The mother of missing airman Corrie McKeague is organising a summer concert to thank everyone involved in the search for her son.
On the Facebook group Find Corrie, Nicola Urquhart writes that she "will always try to find ways of raising funds for SULSAR [Suffolk Lowland Search and Rescue] and the charities that have helped" in the search for Corrie, but that she also wants to find a way to show "the amazing community spirit, the kindness and love that has been shown". She added:
"This will be a charity event and we hope to include as many local traders and members of the community that feel they could bring something positive to a full day event that celebrates everything beautiful about this area."
"This will take a huge amount of planning but we have a professional at our helm by the name of Ollie, so now we bring it together."
The RAF gunner went missing after a night out in Bury St Edmunds on the 24th September last year.
