Hundreds of teenagers from minority backgrounds have been getting a taste of Army life, at the biggest ever event of its kind.

It's hoped the 'supercamp' will help some of the communities which don't feel connected to the Army find out more about what it does.

Teenagers have come from across the North East, with the aim is to show them that it's not just about firing guns.

Visiting officials have been so impressed, meanwhile, that they've already confirmed the event will be rolled out across the Army.
