Today, a world record attempt took place in Warminster- the task? To break the record for the most people at a nativity event.
The event was set up 1st Battalion the Yorkshire regiment along with the Warminster community.
It was certainly a festive occasion. Crowds arrived at 3.45pm, already in costume, and there were hymns played by the band of the royal artillery.
And the nativity play itself, staged by 1st battalion Yorkshire regiment, even had its very own Donkey.
Sadly, the team didn’t manage to beat the whopping 1,254-person record- but they certainly gave it a good shot, with 547 people taking part in the mammoth nativity.
